This week went much more smoothly after I finally figured out what had been slowing down the Pen-to-Print process. As it turns out, the issue wasn’t the software at all, it was my browser choice. I should have been using Google Chrome instead of Safari the whole time. Of course, the solution was that simple; it only took me seven weeks to uncover it! With that sorted, things have been running far more efficiently.
Classes are still going well, and after several conversations with faculty members, I’ve decided to take the LSAT in the spring. Progressing in law librarianship is generally easier with a J.D., and while I’ve gone back and forth about the idea—mostly because of the time and financial commitment—this feels like a good first step. Taking the LSAT will help me gauge whether law school is a worthwhile next move, without having to commit too heavily to the idea.

On a fun but totally off subject note: I’ve also started making some friends in class, which has made the experience even more enjoyable. One of them, a 3L, is getting married soon and shared photos from her dress shopping trip! This is definitely not relevant to the coursework, but a delightful break and especially fun for me as an avid Say Yes to the Dress watcher.
